Serve with game, roasts, lamb, casseroles, and cured meats, also well suited to tomato based pasta dishes and mature cheeses.
Tasting Notes: 18 months in American oak have done nothing to diminish the rich colour more typical of a much younger wine.
The nose also retains it rich scents of dried fruits and spicy cherry with just a hint of vanilla.
Deep, rich and complex dried fruit, spicy cherry and hints of strawberry flood the pallet. A truly great wine.
