Serve with game, roasts, lamb and is also well suited to tomato pasta dishes and mature cheeses.Tasting Notes: The grand complexity of the nose transports you to a world of sensations. Vivid rich balsamic bouquets are interwoven with raisin and juniper along with an underlying sharpness of preserved ginger. All of this layered on top of the very essence typical old growth Tinta de Toro which provides traces of berry, blackberry, plum and mature forest fruits. It posses multiple layers of flavoured character, with the interlaced presence of tannins from grape and wood resin, which lead slow to a slowly developing full of flavour as it crosses the palate.
